Hmmm, I have a Curtis and Electra Cady who owned land in both Lansing and Kalamazoo about the 1850's. Curtis had an uncle who's middle name was Stannard, which I believe was his mother's maiden name. His name was Josephus Stannard Bettis and he lived most of his life in New York. He was married to Dorothy Cady. I know it's a long shot. Let me know if you think we might have something.
