Yes, I have seen this family in Northeastern Connecticut.

Ebenezer Cady 1743-1816
Married Chloe Beebe m1767
(Capt.John,Eleazer,Srgt.John,James,Nicolas)
Children:Prudence(67)Chloe(69)Susan(71)Lodema(73)Elizabeth(76)Arnold(80) Ebenezer(85)

Elezer Cady 1745-1839
Married Ruth BEEBE m 1766
(Ebenezer,Srgt.John,James,Nicholas)
Children:Tryphema(1768),Zipha(1770),Daniel(1773),
Eleazer(1775), Ruth(1777),Sally(1785)

They settled Canaan, Columbia Co, NY. They are listed in Allen's Book but not the families. Check Palmer family, two Ebenezer Jr and Amos married Palmer girls.

I am not sure how Elezer is related they are probably cousins. Several of Elezers brothers settled in Canaan. But Ebenezer family moved on. There were 40 Cady families in 1800, 65 Cady families in 1810 and 119 Cady families in Upstate New York in 1820 as reported in the Census. I'd estimate 200 familes in all over 20 years.
