I spent a little time trying to help you find information on your grandmother Hazel M Pratt.
I found a lot of interesting info on Cadys in Kansas and the Pratts, too.
I have no idea if I am on the right track as you did not provide much information.
You said Dora was born in the late 1800s...can you be more precise? Did she die in Kansas? Is Hazel in Kansas and is she living? Do you have any hints regarding siblings?
I found a couple of Hazel Pratts in the social security death index. There was a Hazel M (Mae?) Pratt born 1899 in Kansas and who died on May 10, 1992. There was also a Hazel Pratt born 10 July 1915 in Kansas and who died in Feb 1978.
