I like your idea of combining a vacation with doing my own research. In the mean time, I have a list of LDS films that I am begining to order from. Cheap compared to the alternatives, but still it is almost $20 for 3 films...and then there is the waiting time. Someone suggested that "land records" might be my best hope for finding the names of people that are not on the internet searchable files. If other Cady searchers have already done this ... specifically around Able, Amos and Haziel in the late 1700's early 1800's CT then perhaps they can save me the trouble. Do you, James, and other Cady's, concur that land records are the best way around a road block? Notify Administrator about this message?
