Marjorie, I know the parents of your Alice Cady; I'm descended from them, too, through Alice's brother Joseph.
Alice Cady, b. 11-17-1734, Killingly, CT, was the daughter of Capt. David Cady and his wife Hannah Whitmore. The following is from "Descendants of Nicholas Cady of Watertown, Mass." by Orrin Peer Allen (page 42):
Capt. David3 Cady (Capt. Joseph2, Nicholas1), b. probably in Killingly, CT 9-17-1703; bapt. in Killingly 4-4-1714; m. 11-17-1722, Hannah, dau. of Thomas and Mary (Waters) Whitmore, b. 5-29-1705. He d. Killingly 11-1-1788; she d. 7-1803.
His parents (p. 22):
Capt. Joseph2 Cady (Nicholas1), b. Watertown, Mass. 5-28-1666; m. Sarah Davis, dau. of Samuel and Mary (Waters) Davis, b. Groton, Mass. 8-12-1667. Capt. Joseph d. Killingly CT 12-29-1742.
