I am searching for information regarding the parents of Michael Cady b abt. 1800 in Tioga County Pennsylvania. My great great grandfather Daniel Cady b abt. 1804 in Tioga County Pennsylvania was a brother to Michael Cady. My Daniel married Sally L Cook, they had a farm in Elkland County PA. They moved to Casco Township,Allegan County Michigan about early 1850's and were among the first settlers established there. Daniel and Sally's son named Lewis C Cady was my great grandfather, who had a son named Clayton J Cady - who is my grandfather. I recently called the Tioga County PA historian asking who their father was, he said it was Abel Cady, but mother's name was unknown. I also have discovered they are listed in the book entitled: Supplement to CADY Genealogy, by James W Cady. This book gives reference to page 6105 in the original large edition of the book CADY Genealogy. Can anyone verify that Abel Cady was their father and who his father was?
