Well, I'm from a branch of Cady's in the Albany, NY area.
My Father lived until just after his 79th birthday. He had a by-pass in the early 1980s and was told it would only (after being told at 63 he would last less than 5 years on a triple by-pass he had- it didn't start to break down until after 13 years).
His sister, my aunt, is still kicking at 80 (almost 81).
My parents were married for 33 years- they got married late in life.
My aunt never married.
They had another brother, who's life was cut short by WWII.
I'm working on my way up the branch.
