My great grandmother (Helen Maria Cady) was the child of William Harvy Cady (he was known as Harvy but signed his name "Wm H. Cady"in a letter he wrote to his wife to be in 1844) & Rachel Robelyn or Rappalee. William Harvy Cady was the child of Jerry Cady & Fanny Mead. Jerry Cady's Parents were Phinnias Cady and Hannah Mead.
Jerry, Fanny & William are buried in Williamson. Helen Maria Cady Randolph is buried in Avon Connecticut)I have diaries of Helen & her husband to be. In her diary she talks of her ancesters and on two pages actually lists their first names by family. She includes "Weed" & "Miller" families as well as "Cady" & "Mead" families. I also have letters written between Helen's son & his 1st cousin with the subject of family history.
Fanny, William's sister married into the Phinney Family. I have much more info. I am in contact with the Mead connection and decendants of Helen, Jerry and William's other siblings.
