Dolly Nudd was born in Skanada, Main, 13 December 1807, and died at Mitchell, Iowa, 26 February 1906, aged 98 years two months 13 days. She moved to Troopsburg, Stebin Co., N.Y. in childhood. She was married to Abner T. Cady, December the 14, 1826. They moved to Ripley Co., Indiana, 1834. Eleven years afterward she moved to Dane Co., Wis., and to Mitchell, Iowa, in 1854. Thence to Pleassanton, Kansas, in 1857, where her husband departed this life in 1858. She returned to Mitchell in June, 1905.

She was the mother to twelve children, nine sons and three daughters. She was the grandmother of thirty-nine, the great grandmother to fifty, and the great great grandmother of three. In all she had one hundred and nine decendents.

She was converted in early life and joined the Methodist Church, and ever remained a consistant member of the same. She leaves eight children to rejoice in the heritage of her godly example, four having passed on before who will doubtless greet her in her Heavenly home.

I think this came from her son Charles C. Cady, then given to Eva Getrude Cady Lemon, then to Alice Irene Lemon Byerley, then to me.

I also have a copy of her death certificate. It states that she died of "old age" and was buried 28 Feb 1906 at Osuge, Mitchell, Iowa. Her father was Jerimiah NUDD. The certificate stated that the mother was not known. I show that her mother was Lydia Vaughn.

Would like more informatin about her family!!
