Noted in your message a reference to Timothy Cady and Dolly Sherwin as parents of Frederick F. Cady. Do you know Timothy and Dolly had other children? I am stumped looking for the parents of my gggt grandfather Roswell L. Cady (1798-1878)but recently discovered wills indicate he likely knew or was a brother, or cousin to a Riley B. Cady (1805-1876) of Weathersfield VT. Riley's VT death certificate lists Timothy Cady and a "Dolly" as his parents! You may have my clue.
