I found on ancestry.com that Thankful Cady was born on March 4, 1738/39 in Killingly, Windham Co., Connecticut. She was one of 11 siblings. Her father is listed as David Cady (b.9/17/1703, d. 11/1/1788), her mother as Hanna Whitmore (b. 5/29/1705) They married on October 22, 1722.
David Cady's parents are listed as Joseph Cady born May 28,1666 in Watertown, Massachusetts, died on Dec. 29, 1742 in Groton, Mass. Burial in Aspenwall Cem. Putman, Conn. Mother is listed as Sarah Davis born August 12, 1667 in Groton, Massachusetts.
I'm not sure if this Cady Lineage is part of my family history. There is some confusion up the line. :(
