I am searching for any info on the Ebenezzer Cady Family of New York. Some old daugerreotypes (or tin-types, don't know the difference)and sepias were found in a photograph album belonging to my grgrandmother. The Cady Family included: Ebenezzer, wife Mary, and a son, Cash(which I assume is a nickname). My grgrandparents lived in the area of Oneida & Herkimer. Not all of the photos were from that area though. Other photos had the surnames: Ellis(Nancy), Matter, Oyer(Albert),Pratt(Uncle Pete) and Jackson(unnamed woman, w/o Duane). My grgrandparents were George and Cora (Williams) Brown. George was the son of Francis and Elisabeth(Dwyer, Duyer) Brown. I am trying to find a connection between the Brown family and these surnames. Written under the photo of Mary Cady was: "Aunt Mary Cady, grandmother's sister." I know that these people must be connected to the Browns, as I have researched the entire branch of Cora's family, both male and female, and not come across these names.
