I believe that it is probably the other way around, that Cady is a version of Cade. Some sources site that Nicholas Cady of Watertown MA is the son of Nicholas Cade. Don't know if this information is verified. I'm sure there are many versions of the name, such as Caddy, Cadey, etc.
