A side shoot off my line of Cadwells: Aletha Ann Jeffers and John Wesley Cadwell married Feb.12, 1848 in Navarro County, TX. Their was the very first marriage in Navarro County. I have two children listed: Sarah Elizabeth Cadwell, 1849 and Daniel Cadwell, 1855. John Wesley's parents were Daniel Cadwell and Matilda Isom.
John was a half brother to my ancestor Hugh McNary Cadwell.
