(2) 1721, 20 May: Abigail CADWELL, alias LEET, and Matthew CADWELL, administrators on the estate of Matthew CADWELL dec'd., exhibit an account of administration. Order to distribute the said estate as follows: To the said Abigail LEETE, late widow of the deceased, 1/3 part of the moveable estate and 1/3 part of the housing and lands for her improvement during life. And the residue of said estate, including the widow's thirds in housing and lands after her decease, to be distributed to the children, viz.: To Matthew CADWELL, eldest son, a double portion; to the rest of the children, to Ann, John, Abell, Daniel, Abigail and Elias CADWELL, to each of them their single portions. Matthew CADWELL appointed guardian to his brother Daniel CADWELL. (2) 1721/2, 3 Jan: Distribution of the estate of Matthew CADWELL lists amounts paid to Matthew, John, Abell, Daniel, Elias, Anne, and Abigail. (1) 1731: Of Springfield, MA. (2b) 1724, 7 Apr: Daniel CADWELL, a minor son of Matthew CADWELL, dec'd, about 15 years of age, chose John CADWELL of Hartford to be his guardian.
