A Rees Cadwalader was the first permanent settler of Bridgeport, Fayette,Pennsylvania. It was laid out as a town by him in 1794. I found a copy of his will along with Joseph Cadwalader's, I descend from Rees' daughter Edith who is mentioned in the will.
