I am researching the Cadot branch of the family in Quebec. I have gone back to France to Mathurin Cadot and his son Jean Francois Cadot who appears to be a direct ancestor. The family seems to have come from Auge, Poitou, France. I would be thrilled to make a connection. I live in Massachusetts.
