Cadogan Books

There are two very good books about the Cadogans which are worth reading:

The First Earl Cadogan, 1672-1726, by Robert Pearman, published by Haggerston Press, London ISN 1869812 05 0

The Cadogan's at War, 1783-1864, also by Robert Pearman, published by Haggerston Press, London ISN 1869812 02 6

The second one explains quite well why the name is scattered all over the world - it appears they were seafarers.

I thought all the above information may be of use to any Cadogan who is interested in tracing their family history.
