I am descended from Cadogans of Cape Clear Island, Co. Cork Ireland. My family is from Boston--but I have traced them to TX and other parts of this country. I have some information re: Capt. JJ Cadogan--in particular I have heard the reference to a Kennedy connection--I have not been able to verify it. I would love to hear from you--perhaps we can figure out how we connect. I will search out the info re: the Kennedy connection--so that I may forward it to you. If you can find the connection--I would be very interested in learning it.
