I've since found that Patrick & Bridget were married at Rath, County Cork in 1858.Their children Mary, Joannah, and John B. were born in Old Court & Inane, County Cork.All these records I requested from the Skibbereen Heritage Center in County Cork.
From what you found, my guess for the most likely ancestor would be Michael, as Patrick named one of his sons Michael.Jeremiah seems to be of the more direct Cape Clear Cadigan line; and from what I have seen most of them seem to have emmigrated to the North End of Boston.My family lived in the South End.A slim guess, but so far my instincts have followed through!
BTW, I have a an O'Connor on the other side -- married a Curtin in Massachusetts.
