write down all your family tell you, search birth death and marrriage registers in towns they lived, get copies of ant certificates, witnesses and parents are listed on them and can help. search google - someone else might have made a start on one branch of your family
I have a cadden connection:Do you know where in Ireland your Cadden's came from. I am in New Zealand and my search has lead me to Leitrim, Ireland. I have two sisters so far Catherine and Mary-Ann ( both got married in New Zealand around 1877, so figure they were born 1855 to 1862 sometime.
