Cadden Newspaper Appeal in London 1863
Discovered the following entry in a national newspaper, dated 15th September 1863:-
SHOULD this MEET the EYE of JOHN WILLIAM CADDEN or MARY ANN CHEESEMAN, of London, they will HEARof their brother, BENJAMIN TANNA CADDEN, son of Martha Cheeseman of Chapel-street, Stockwell, and nephew of Rebecca Tanna, straw bonnet maker, Limehouse-fields.He left England in the middle of the year 1835, in the brig Salus, for the Cape of Good Hope, as an apprentice to Mr Robert Walker of Wapping.Direction, Benjamin Tanna Cadden, Flemington, Victoria.
Sincerely hope that this will fit into someone's CADDEN line, as the paragraph gives such a lot of information!
