ETHEL VERNICE CADDELL, daughter of William Andrew and Delila Ann (Singleton) CADDELL, was born (9 Oct 1902) and raised in Marion County, AL, and later moved to Columbus, MS, where she married. They moved to Plainview, TX in 1933 and to Andrews, TX by 1942, where she lived until she died. Her husband, Dan, served in World War I. Her son, William Day Griffin, later changed his surname from Griffin to CADDELL to carry on the family name.

Ethel Vernice was very instrumental in my obtaining most of the information on the family of Andrew Henderson CADDEL. She did genealogy research for several years. She resided at Northeast 1st Street, Andrews, TX.
