Dear Jose,
I am a descendant of the Cabreras who came
from Spain in 1730. Juan Manuel C. & Maria
Rodriguez deBega came from Lanzarote, canary
Islands,Spain to settle San Antonio,Tx. They
brought their children Jose, Marcos & Ana.
Jose was 15 yrs. old, he married along the
way, in Cautitlan,Mexico, and don't know to
whom. They all lived in San Antonio, their
sons were soldiers,Vicente who traveled to
Coahilla often and other parts of Mex. Other
names are his son Jose Manuel whose son was
Mariano,my gr.gr.grandfather. Hope this helps. There is rich history on Cabreras!
Alice Cabrera Calderon
