My cabreras were also from the Canary Islanders, and include Jose Ricardo, Aucencio and Jesus Cabrera. Last know for Jose and Aucencio was Corpus Christi. My dad, Jesus, went to San Antonio and married Guadalupe Ema Moreno (she was from Laredo); and we were 7 kids. Theresa Marie Cabrera, Jesse Cabrera (me), Patricia Sue Cabrera, Jose Ricardo Cabrera, Roberta Lynn Cabrera, John Romain Cabrera, and Rachel Feliz Cabrera. Since, grown and married, but some still in San Antonio. I am now in Tucson, Arizona.
I recall one great Aunt named Adela, and my fathers mother was something like Feliciana or close to that. And I recall one other Aunt, my Tia Ninfa, last name Gonzales; married to Manny-both now deceased. They had a child named Kikki, or something like that.
