Hi! My name is Javier Cabrera Canosa and I am from A Coruña(Spain). i've made some research about the origin of the name and all i know is that it comes from the area of Leon,also in Spain.This was a tipical surname from the ´maragatos´,a commmunity known for its job as merchants.They used to travel from their home towns (Rabanal del camino,Astorga,...)with all kind of goods towards other places in the north like Galicia (that is where i live ).In my particular case ,I know thatmy family comes from this zone,and some relatives of my grandfather emigrated to the Canary Islands and also to Cuba.My grandfather's name is Carlos cabrera López.I've got more about it, so
