Maguela Mancha was born in LaBahia,Goliad,Tx.
in 1809. Parents: Nazario Mancha 1882 & Maria de Jesus Gomez 1789. Nazario's bro.: Feliciano,Antonio and others. Her family owned extensive land in Goliad, forced to sell to gringos. She married Mariano Cabrera
who had a son:Macario Cabrera in Brownsville.
Cabreras & Manchas did live in Brownsville.
I have been looking for Mariano's parents,
somewhere in Mexico. Have doc. of sale of
property of Manchas. Miquela has been spelled
Micaela, Maquela or Miquela. I will be on
lookout for Marcelino. Are you near the census records for Cameron Ct.?
