Looking for the connection between the Cabral family of Portugal and those of the Dominican Republic (Cabral-Aybar, Cabral-Bernal, Cabral-Tapia, Cabral-Herrera).

For the Dominican Republic, I have as the oldest member Marcos Cabral who married Maria Aybar around 1790; son Marcos b. 05/19/1792.

For Portugal, I have the Cabral family tree published in the 1930s in Madeira. It goes back well beyond Pedro Alvarez Cabral, the discoverer of Brasil.

Any help out there?
