I have been striving to understand more about my great grandmother's family, the Cablers. So far this is all I have:
John M. Cabler, b. abt. 1832, North Carolina or South Carolina, d. 1910 Maury County, TN; wife Mary Jane Moore (or Nancy Jane Moore, or Eliza Jane Moore). These were my great-great grandparents.
Their children, as I understand, are as follows:
Maria Eugenia Cabler (1855-1928; married Robert B. McClure);
Unknown daughter who married David Engle of San Antonio;
Anna Belle Cabler (m. Henry Edward Green);
Mattie L. Cabler;
Eliza Moore Cabler (m. Henry Barrack of Columbia TN);
Lena May Cabler (m. Charles Hines Sharp of Columbia TN);
Austin W. Cabler.
This was pieced together from fragmented information (and a little guesswork). If anyone can add further to this, I will appreciate it.
