Is anyone researching William Cabell of VA? He's credited as being one of the founders of Albemarle County and acquired a lot of land in the Howardsville area along the James River. Howardsville is where the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham and Nelson (once Amherst) all meet.

I'm specifically interested in the precise location of his lands in Howardsville as several of my Anderson ancestors had lands adjoining the "Land of William Cabbell" (per a will).
