Dr. George Cabell, born 1 Nov 1766 in Buckingham County, VA was the son of Col. John Cabell, who was the son of William Cabell the Immigrant. Died in Lynchburg, VA 30 Nov 1823 as a result of a fall from his horse. His widow died in Lynchburg in 1826. His home, later named "Point of Honor" is open to the public.
He was the attending physician at the death of the patriot, Patrick Henry, and his daughter, Paulina, later married Alexander Spotswood Henry, son of Patrick Henry.
