The Nancy Jane Cabbage you refer to was a daughter of Rev. John Cabbage and Nancy Barrow. According to the published transcript of the Cabbage Cemetery in Hart Township, Warrick Co., she died 13 Apr. 1874 aged 27 years, 5 months and 27 days. According to info in my files copied from the Cabbage file in the Maccubin Collection in Salisbury, NC, James West was the son of William West and Catherine Hall and died March 17 1928. He and Nancy Jane had children Emma, Rose, Laura and Martha West. His second wife was Elizabeth Wilson, by whom he had no children. This info is unverified by me- I'm just repeating what's in the file.
