Dan T Cole and Mountain House

Has anyone heard of the Mountain House which was in Yuba County, CA, up in the mountains? A Dan T. Cole was the owner of this establishment at sometime around 1870 and later. He is also supposed to have been a political power in the hills. He was appointed a Harbor Commissioner of San Francisco. His name is on the large Ferry Building in that city. Thanks. Wanda Cole
