Loyal Freeman Scott was a pioneer in Jones County Iowa -he
lived and farmed there, but he made two trips to Yuba County
California area in his lifetime. He also wrote accounts about
his travels to California and back to Iowa. An Iowa History book verifies the writing. But we can't find the writing!!!!
Loyal died in 1902 and his burial is a mystery as well.

Anyone who can help we would be grateful. This historical collection of his writing is unknown to Jones County Iowa but it must be somewhere!!!!

Are there any family members who live in California in todays time?
