Thanks for the information. I did receive his death cert. from California. If this is Mark it seems like he married again. His first wife Ella was still alive and living with her daughter in Iowa. Ella lists that she is a widow.

I don't know why Mark's name is listed as Albert M Jones in the 1900 census but that is him.
