Woodland Daily Democrat, Woodland (Yolo Co), California, Sat, May 10, 1919 FRIENDS MOURN AT GRAVE OF MALCOLM CHISHOLM I will list extraction but you will want to write and get a copy of this. No where on this entry does it say when he died. But since the service was on Thrusday it would be before thursday May 08, 1919. You can also obtain a death record from the Yolo County Clerk office. "......Services at Christian Church at Madison on Thursday....Born in Nova Scotia in 1860 and 59 years of age...for the last 36 years made his home in Madison....Has 2 sisters in Boston, one brother in Humboldt County, and other brothers & sisters in Canada....." other organizations he belonged to listed, seems he was a very well thought of citizen in his community. Think I found him on the 1900 census. Name spelling just goofed up abit but all other info matches. 1900 CA, Yolo Co, Cottonwood twp Chislom, Mack 40 bn Feb 1860 Canada, imm 1881, in US 19yrs, day laborer, he is a boarder in another home.
