Seeking information on the parents and children of the following Hodge family members who came from Adams County, Illinois, to Yolo County, California, abt 1867. GEORGE W. HODGE (b abt 1858), OLIVER or OLIN L. HODGE (b abt 1860), JAMES F. or FRANK HODGE (b abt 1865), JOHN O. or OTIS HODGE (b abt 1869), and LINZA or LEW A. HODGE (b abt 1871). Believe father to be JOHN F. HODGE (b abt 1834, d abt 1876 in Yolo County). The mother listed as head of household in the 1880 census says "Lempt"; however, it's probable that the given name was almost illegible and that was the best that the transcriber could do.
