In 1930, he was living with May and Adrienne in San Diego, he said his father was b in NY and his mother in TX. In 1940 he is living in Phoenix AZ. He is listed in 1900 in Calaveras County as a chore boy for William and Grace Buckley. He says his father was born in Wales and his mother in CA.

There is a WWI Draft Reg card for William Roland Williams, b 10/30/1894 in Milton, he also works for Calaveras Copper Co

You are going to have to order some death certs or SSN applications to see if you can find out the parents' names, I looked and looked and this is all I found
