By 1930 census four children of Henry Winkler 1848-1893 and
Elizabeth Stehl 1848- have come from Nebraska to Fillmore Twp., Ventura Co. The households of interest are:
(1) Oscar Jacob Winkler 1888-1966 sp Mollie Durnford
children: June R. Winkler, Gerald Winkler, Richard Winkler
(2)John Moehl sp Lena Winkler child Beulah Moehl Palmer
(3)Herman C. Young sp Louise Winkler children Lois Young,
Leland Young
(4)Otto Haase sp Lottie Winkler child Harrard Haase
Residing with them in 1930 is mother-in-law, Elizabeth
Winkler
All seem to be engaged in citrus farming.
A fifth related household is that of Jesse O. Bentz who is
a nephew of Oscar, Lena, Louise, and Lottie Winkler. It is really Jesse Bentz I am most interested in, but perhaps some of his relatives have information.
