My father's name was Lionel Hemphill. His father's name was William and mother was Lena. His family lived in Tulare County since the turn of the century. I know I probably have relatives there but for some reason, when we lived in Porterville in the early 1950's even my mother was not aware of any family. My father was City Clerk @ 1954-1956. I attended kindergarten and (I think 1st grade) there. Don't know what the rift was but would like to make contact to find out more about the family. Have connected with some relatives from the area but am always eager to meet more. Please contact.
