Thank you for getting back to me regarding Lola Bostick Hooten Wasco.

There were actually two Lola Bosticks in Golden, Itawamba County, Mississippi who were born within a year of each other and who were cousins. My great-aunt was the daughter of William "Billy" and his wife, Floria (Messer)Bostick and was born in 1903. She first married Arlie Hooten, then was married to Edward Frank Wasco.

The other Lola Bostick was the daughter of William and Flora (Shook) Bostick and was born in 1904. She was married to an Alonzo Keeton. I know, it couldn't be more confusing.

Thanks for the suggestion of contacting the Tulare County Library. Hopefully, they will be of some help.

Julie Bostick-Leech
