Believe I have your BARTONS on my maternal side:
James BARTON b. 2 Nov 1819 in Morris Co, NJ; m. 19 Jan 1843 to Susan DAVENPORT b. 30 Oct 1823, d.19 Jan 1912.

James crossed the plains with his family in 1865, arrived Visalia 6 Oct 1865, raised cattle for 14 years on 440 ac. at Auckland.
He was a Tulare Co Supervisor for 5 terms d. 2 Sep 1912
