Vida Mae Brassfield, 92, of Porterville died Saturday, July 15, 2006. She was a nurses' assistant.
Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God, Porterville. Interment will be at Vandalia Cemetery, Porterville. Arrangements are by Myers Chapel, Porterville.

Deceased Name: Vida Mae Brassfield
Vida Mae Brassfield, a resident of Porterville, died there Saturday, July 15, 2006. She was 92.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Assembly of God in Porterville, with the Rev. Peter Schalembier officiating. Interment will be at Vandalia Cemetery in Porterville.
Mrs. Brassfield was a native of Baylor County, Texas. She was a resident of Porterville for 60 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Porterville. She served in the Womens Air Corps during World War II.
She is survived by one niece, Peggy King of Lanevill, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Brassfield.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myersfuneral.com. Myers Funeral Service in Porterville is in charge of arrangements.
