MATTERS in TULARE -- The 'Delta' has learned that Mr. John JORDAN, a citizen of Visalia and one of the pioneers of the county, was accidentally drowned in Kern river on Sunday, the 22nd of May. Mr. JORDAN was born in the Territory now embraced by the State of Illinois, in the year 1807, whence he emigrated to Texas, and thence, in 1850, to this State. He leaves a widow and a large family of children.
