Fort Tejon was indeed in Tulare County while it was in exsistance 1854 to 1864. Kern County where it is now as it was formed from Tulare County in 1866. The main fort with buildings has been "recreated" as a California State Park. If you will use Google Search "Fort Tejon" and "Keeneysburg" separtely you will find websites with information and even maps of where they are or were.
