I have searched on the web and only keep getting more confused to as Where I write for an Old (c1882-ish) Marriage Record that took place in Red Bluff, Tehama Co., CA.
Do I write to the CA VR's Office or do I write to the Local Registrar? Someone who lives out there in Red Bluff may be able to help me with this one.
Also, I don't need a "Certified" copy of the record...only a "photo" copy. From what I can tell, they want to charge 13.00 for that, EVEN If they Don't find the record. Good Grief, what a racket they have going.
Any help Greatly appreciated.
