Susie, We have no record of any marriage or children for David PATTON while he was in Tehama county, CA. Our pioneer chroniclers show that he appeared in the 1860 and 1880 Census living in the Paskenta district; in the 1870 Census living in Red Bluff; in the 1867 Great Register of voters as a Teamster in Paskenta. They also note that he "established Patton's Mill west of Red Bluff in 1860; was still operating it in 1867 and was injured in saw mill accident."
Other G.R. [1875, 1888, 1890 and 1896] say he was a farmer or stockman and that he visited Red Bluff in 1897. No mention of any wife or children between 1860 -1897.
