Our pioneer chroniclers list a few of the COFFMAN family outlined in your post:
Andrew COFFMAN, b. 1825 KY, d. 1872 KY m. Mary BONHAM, she b. 1827 OH and died in Oakland, Alameda county, CA in August 1903. Their only identified child was their son, Pelham Howard COFFMAN, b. in Logan county,IL Oct 22, 1858 [one says 1857] and married in Red Bluff, Tehama county, CA Feb 9, 1893 Lucy Margaret DOANE, b. in Michigan 1870, dau. of Scott and Margaret (Volkenberg) DOANE. Pelham was listed in the 1908 GR as a Lawyer in Red Bluff.
He taught in Napa county, CA where he studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1889, where he opened his Red Bluff office.
He served as the secretary for the Victor Power and Mining Co., engaged in real estate, was a member of the Republican B & L Club, active in civic improvements and belonged to the Masonic Lodge #84.
They had a son, Howard Doane COFFMAN, b. CA 1896 m. Red Bluff 21 May 1923 Mollie Susan WOODALL, she b. KY 1901.
Only other COFFMANs on your list noted were Josephine who one chronicler says was in Oklahoma in 1912 and Alfred B. who was b. in IL 1854 and was listed as a Teacher in Red Bluff in the 1884 GR, and was unmarried.
Others noted, but not connected as far as we can determine, were:
Archibald W. COFFMAN, b. IL 1850, Red Bluff farmer in 1886, sold his property in 1887.
M. S. COFFMAN, b. 1863 d. May 5, 1895 Arizona
W. G. COFFMAN, b. MO 1862, d. Sept 18, 1895 and is buried in Red Bluff's Oak Hill cemetery.
