Looking for any descendants of Oceola A. Montgomery who burnt to death at the age of 88 in Corning, Tehama Co., CA on April 5, 1950. He was born 1861 in Posey Co., IN. His obit listed only a surviving son named William J. Montgomery.

Oceola is buried at the Corning city cemetery. He has a metal, bullet shaped marker that says only, "Oceola A. Montgomery, 1861-1950". Also, the caretaker of the cemetery states there is no record of who purchased the plot. However, Oceola's name is recorded as Oceola A. W. Montgomery. The cemetery records show his date of death as 19 March 1950.
