Tehama Co., CA: Langsford or Langsworthy

Information about a father in Red Bluff, CA, whose wife died ( September 1908 or shortly after) and left him with several children. The family name may have been Langsford?? or Langworthy??. The children were all placed in different homes. One daughter was renamed Betty Olive Swain born 1908. Betty told me personally about her family, or what she could remember. Betty is now long passed away and I want to contact any descendants of her brothers and sisters. The Swain couple had an only child and natural daughter Elizabeth Swain b. 1900 died 1911. It is difficult research as Elizabeth is listed with parents, then died, and Betty is immediately listed in next census as Elizabeth. I have the grave of Elizabeth Swain with birth and death dates on marker. Betty Olive (may not have been real name and given by Swain's), married Fred H. Hufford, then passed away many years later, and buried in another cemetery. Betty told me the name Betty was similiar to Eliz and that most likely was how she was renamed. Betty and Fred lived all their lives in Redding, CA. Are there any descendants of Langsford or Langworthy with this story in their family? I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has information. Please email. Thank you.
